king of the United States”. Ironically, this is an answer from Search Engine Land, where we documented how Google mistakenly gave the wrong answer to this question from another source. By doing this, we have become the new source. This is just one of many examples we've covered where Google's assumptions about answers from the web go wrong. In short, Google Home's strength in pulling answers from across the web, without curation or human review, may also be its weakness. But overall, I'd say like with regular Google itself, it's more likely to do things right than wrong. Beyond the answers, Echo is stronger Beyond answering questions, I'd give fax number list Echo the edge, an edge that largely comes from being a platform that has matured over the past couple of years. While Google Home can control devices, Echo seems able to handle a wider variety. In my house, Echo can talk with two different types of smart lights I own, as well as a non- Nest thermostat. Google Home couldn't see any of these items. I love how Echo delivers information from a wide variety of sources, over 300. Google has about 50. Echo also really shines by having a rich library of 'skills', where third parties have allowed Echo to do certain things like test your knowledge of Harry Potter, play the 'name game', did you do random exercises and yes , the always fun skill to make your Echo pop.
